Good evening guys and welcome to my page. It’s about 10:39pm at night on a Sunday that I am writing this. I just wanted to give a short ‘about me’ and the reason behind this website. Stick around to find out more or read one of my recent posts.

I felt driven to start a blog because I wanted to be intentional about my self reflection and create a space to be -present. That’s hard for me to do! I am currently reading through The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by Comer and am struck by this call to action, to eliminate my desire to live in a future where I my present constantly washes itself out to sea lost on a voyage that never embarked.

Other than saying something profound what I realize as a man in his 30s is that I need closure that the world or desires of the flesh can’t serve. I need a real Jesus to run to when things get tough. I need a present heart and mind that is ready to sit with Christ. Right now I don’t have it. This blog is meant to help me stop and spend time with God in a format I enjoy which is website building.
